Terms & Conditions

  • The promoter of this Members Club Competition is Dromahair Arts & Recreation Centre Association CLG, (herein after referred to as “DARC”). This draw is open to members only and by entering you automatically enrol as a social club member of DARC. Application and payment for a ticket for the draw will also comprise application for social club membership of DARC until 4th January 2022, or two weeks after the conclusion of the competition whichever comes later.
  • DARC is established and conducted for the purpose not connected with gaming, wagering or lotteries.
  • The Competition is open to persons aged 18 years and over only.
  • Officers of DARC, or Members of the Organising Committee (a list of 14 people retained on records by DARC) are not permitted to purchase tickets/take part in the competition.
  • The cost of tickets shall be €20 each, 3 for €50, and 6 for €100. There is no limit on the number of Memberships which an individual may purchase.
  • The prize is as stated; Two Prizes, each comprising a Trailfinders Voucher valued at €16,000 plus €4,000 spending money. The vouchers will not have an expiry date and may be used any time or a multiple of times up to their value.
  • The charitable purpose of the competition is to raise funds for the benefit of developing and enhancing the existing community Gaelic football field facilities in DARC.
  • The organisers of the Competition shall not derive any personal profit from the Competition.
  • For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR): DARC will retain and use the Social Member’s personal data for the duration of Membership.
  • On becoming a Social Member, each Member agrees to the use of his or her details being used solely in connection with this Competition and their Social Membership of DARC. Personal data of any kind will not be disclosed to a Third Party without the Member’s consent.
  • The Winner hereby agrees and consents to the use of his or her personal data and/or image being released in publicity material in conjunction with the Competition.
  • The Winner hereby also agrees and consents to his or her personal data being released to relevant third parties to allow for the transfer of the voucher(s) to him or her.
  • Any notice, announcement, information or bulletin in relation to the Competition whether public or otherwise or wheresoever published is only intended to be a notice to the Members of the Social Club and is not intended to be nor directed to any other persons whatsoever.
  • All disputes, differences and questions of any nature which at any time may arise between the purchaser of a ticket and the organisers of the Social Clubs ‘Win a Luxury Holiday’ competition shall be referred to an independent arbitrator to be nominated by the Officers of DARC to determine the dispute, differences or issues.
  • Once purchased, no refunds will be issued except in the event of cancellation of the competition.
  • A maximum of 12,995 (Twelve Thousand, Nine Hundred and Ninety Five) tickets will be made available either in electronic form or print form.
  • Neither DARC nor any of its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, directors, committee members or the organisers of the Competition of whatsoever nature or howsoever appointed shall be liable to the Social Members for any loss, inconvenience, damage or expense suffered by the Members participating in this Competition.
  • After the draw has taken place and the Trailfinder’s voucher(s) has been transferred to the winner(s), DARC will have no direct or indirect financial interest in the said voucher(s) and it will be held free from any encumbrances in favour of DARC.
  • DARC’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the competition or the competition result.
  • DARC reserves the right to add additional prizes to the Competition. The addition of any such prizes will be notified to the Members as soon as practicable via publication on winaluxuryholiday.ie.
  • The Competition Draw will be held by DARC on the 4th of January 2022. All members shall be entitled to witness the draw, via livestream on the Win A Luxury Holiday Facebook page. If all tickets are sold earlier the officers of DARC may decide to hold the competition at an earlier date and shall provide at least 7-day notice of the change of date.
  • DARC will contact the winner by phone and/or email. If the winner doesn’t respond within 30 days, a new winner will be chosen.
  • The winning ticket and the ticket holder(s) will be subject to verification by DARC and their agents. This process may take up to seven working days to complete. The winner(s) hereby agrees to forward the necessary documentation (copy of their passport/drivers licence, PPS number (for residents of Ireland), proof of address) and validation of payment of the ticket to DARC and/or their agents to prove their identity and also to ensure the property can be stamped and registered in the winner’s name.
  • The Competition will be implemented & conducted by DARC. The preparation of entries for the final draw and the final draw will be independently observed by the independent adjudicator. The independent adjudicator will be appointed by the Officers of DARC.
  • DARC will maintain books and records recording all entries into the competition and all costs relating to the competition. The books and records will be audited by the independent adjudicator within 14 days of the draw taking place. The identity of the adjudicator will be notified to all members on our website not less than 14 days in advance of the date of the competition draw.
  • Errors and Omissions Excepted. DARC its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, directors, committee members or the organisers of the Competition accepts no responsibility whatsoever whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission, interception or communications failure, for unreceived, late, missing, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected claims, entries, applications, memberships or otherwise.
  • By purchasing a ticket, an entrant is deemed to accept these terms and conditions. DARC reserves the right to amend, update, revise, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time, for any reason. Where any term and/or condition is so modified, DARC will notify entrants, members and ticket holders of the nature of the change by publishing them on our website at winaluxuryholiday.ie. Ticketholders are at all times bound by the terms and conditions as published on winaluxuryholiday.ie and your purchase of a ticket will be acceptance of an obligation that you must check the website frequently to ensure you are aware of changes which will be immediately binding once posted. These Terms and Conditions contain all of the Terms which the parties have agreed and supersede all other prior terms and conditions, understandings, arrangements or agreements, whether verbal or written, in relation to the draw.
  • DARC further reserves the right to cancel this Competition for any reason whatsoever. The cancellation or any change to the Competition or these Terms and Conditions will be notified to the Social Members as soon as practicable in respect thereof.
  • DARC shall not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of its obligations if caused by factors outside its control.
  • Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable save where the competition is cancelled for reasons outside of DARC’s control. In that event an appropriate refund will be given (accounting for associated charges).
  • The laws of the Republic of Ireland shall have application to these Terms and Conditions and the respective rights and obligations of each party hereto are governed by Irish Law.
